mark it on the calendars. may 23rd twentyten.

may 23rd, 2010. its the date! liz and i along with her parents settled on a location and date last night. so stoked! now we can start organizing everything else. lots of sweet ideas for everything. guess list is gonna be small (sorry to those who won't be making it in advance, we still love you! hope you still love us.. lol) but its gonna be rad! the whole works is gonna be done in one place. walk the isle than straight into reception time and all that jazz.

invites will be comin shortly.

it's gonna be epic for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!

on a completely different note i got to snowboard with my long time shred hero and style guru, simon chamberlain! sunday i did a lap and took a chair with him, we had some great convo's. monday i was up at seymour again, hikin park and he showed up for a bit. mike and i sessioned a rail with him for a good while. pretty solid session. just the three of us. good laughs and good tricks were had. he's a legit guy. great christian, and awesome pro snowboarder. he deserves every blessing and more. kudo's simon.

oh. and possibly parting-out my car. which means, ripping it completely apart and selling off everything to whoever wants it. which i would like more (yes it means more work) than selling it as a whole and seeing someone else wrap it around a pole. but. if someone offers me my asking price or close enough to it. i'll take it. car will not be coming with me into the married the life.

my bro moved out! clark bought a place in langley. its really nice. we helped him on christmas day do some painting. it was fun. i miss him already. he's such a rad guy. definately prayin god's blessing for him always. i love my bro's.

the winds of change are blowing.

fly your kites or grab a hanglider.

love it.

slippery when wet.

first of all, big thx to Drew for the pics from last nights events. so rad that he could come out with us.

so last night a couple of us went out for a little driving. security ended up bluffin' us out of our spot but we were happy, we had our fun already. so we bounced on the devil and put the pedal to the metal and ended up doin some "hard parkin". it sure felt great to slide around again.

heres some pics from the evening. matt's camo s14, ben's black 180sx, and myself.

victory ah!

so this was like last week, but it took me a while to get the photos :)

on july 30th 2009 was liz and i's 2 year. man the time has flew! i never knew i could be so happy with someone so easily. liz is truly amazing and wonderful to be with. god has blessed me so much with her and our relationship we have.

so we went for an adventure to vancouver island and to spend the day in victoria. it was last wednesday and right in the middle of our crazy heat wave in B.C. (that day was actually the hottest day ever recorded for b.c. or vancouver or something i think). it was nice to escape to the island where it was actually a little cooler. we walked on the ferry and had a great day together. bussed to victoria and spent the day walkin' talkin and relaxin' in the shade every now and then. a perfect day.

some pics of us!

fresh local meat.

went out to a local 240sx meet with members from bc240.com on sunday and thought i'd throw up some pics. (no www, just straight bc240.com) it was a pretty standard meet/cruise. met at burnaby mountain, cruise down to belcarra area, chilled some more. a meet like that happens once a month usually on the second sunday. good to meet new people, get help with any projects as well as inspiration and ideas. i rolled out with a friend of mine, adam yueno, who drive's an S14 with a kouki front end and a nifty paint job. he's got an S13 redtop under the hood with a gt2871R and microtech along with other bells and whistles. he just got the tranny redone and is back on the road, finally.

another note worthy motor that was there, was jamie's setup. a freshly rebuilt s13 redtop SR20det with a full tomei turbo kit. tomei everything basically. cams, RAS, exhaust manifold, gt2530 turbo, turbo elbow.. as well as some nice greddy pieces and a candy-licious red paint job. cleanest motor i've seen in a long time, and he's just peaking over 500 km on the motor! so young.. he's also rollin on some XD9's in the chrome finish (extra $$$ per wheel). same specs as my fronts, 17x9.5 +17 but he's got em on all 4 corners and has stock body. one of my fav local cars for sure.

onto the pics.

Wing the wong numba?

nope. the right one!

been a while since the last entry. hmmm

work is pickin up a bit. thats a blessing for sure. been having lots of great summer days and nights with liz (always awesome). car's runnin great. would like to get a better handle on the cooling situation in the engine bay tho. need to get a fan shroud like yesterday :S

BUT! got my wing back. woohoo! finally. i've waited more than a year to rock such a cool wing on my car. its nifty. i've seen a couple in america, but none in canada. maybe i'm the first? it was made in japan by g-corp/326. one of my favorite non super drift wings. nice and aggressive and street style. fits the wide body great. very similar to a type-x wing which came on the japan 240's (180sx) but wider and more aggressive styling. paint matched to my orange by a great friend Steve Thompson down at O.Z. Designs in burnaby. he does amazing work. and thats an understatement.

anyways. some pics of said winger.

i spy with my little eye, something that is wing.

jail time at cell block D.

sunday was a very fun day with my car. entered my first drift event with a buddy of mine, matt froese - Cell Block D. WHAT A BLAST! it was so much fun! track was nothin special, an oval with 2 banked turns. the turns were decent size tho. you definately had to maintain the drift. awesome experience. a couple of our friends made it out and were cheerin us on. praise god neither of us crashed. walls were scuffed up from lots of other people gettin nasty already. i came close during my second lap of the day, but after that nothing too crazy. 2 other guys crashed. lots of nice cars there. skylines (r32's, gts-es, and one was a 4 door) were killin it! such amazing driving. couple toyoda 'rollas. an fc with a 1j in it. fun times for sure. car felt great. it rained the whole time but i like slidin in the rain, easier on the rubber/wallet. i ran the 17x9.5's in the rear with fairly fresh rubber. car handled great. mainly stayed in the top of second gear around the corners for sliding. it was nice to have an actual corner that was long and gave you something to aim for. scary cuz of the walls (didn't wanna smash up at my first event) but great cuz you don't gotta worry about on coming drivers/coppers/private property/security. so glad i went. hope i get to go to more.

on a lady's note, check this out! my girlfriend liz has started on a business adventure. so to all who are readin this blog, support her if you can cuz she rocks! her stuff is really cool so check it out!

June what and we're snowboarding at seymour.

on a car related note i'm having issues with the timing. i thought i set it all to stock yesterday.. (it was outta wack, i dunno how. something needs to be sorted out!) so ya, i set it to stock, and about 17 degrees. used a timing light, drove it a couple times testing this and tweaking it a couple times till it felt right. so drove it outta there and it was good for a day. put new spark plugs in, checked fluids. everything is good. so i'm thinking maybe an ecu problem or fuel pump/filter/fpr (fuel pressure regulator). the fpr is prolly old and i would like an upgrade. the filter is stock, 300zx's are a nice upgrade too hmmm. and the fuel pump i am unsure if its a good 255 flowing one or not. so may as well replace that too. ugggggghhhhh... add those to the shopping list. it never ends :)

anyways.

so its june whatever today and i went up with a couple buddies and went snowboarding at Mt. Seymour! there was snow everywhere! even down from the main parking lot. i was really surprised and happy! we set up a ribbed sewage style pipe and a sheet of plywood to play on. ghetto setup for the win! it was a little foggy at first but sooooo much fun to be back on the shred stick. alex threw down a front two-sev and right after him jf threw down a front two-sev on two-sev off. needless to say, both tricks were done with madd steez and stomped like nobody's business. then the session was really on. 180's in and out of everything. switch this, press that. tap it. revert it. slide it. stomp it. you name it, it was goin down. heres some pics of the joy that was had.

the setup:
