fresh local meat.

went out to a local 240sx meet with members from bc240.com on sunday and thought i'd throw up some pics. (no www, just straight bc240.com) it was a pretty standard meet/cruise. met at burnaby mountain, cruise down to belcarra area, chilled some more. a meet like that happens once a month usually on the second sunday. good to meet new people, get help with any projects as well as inspiration and ideas. i rolled out with a friend of mine, adam yueno, who drive's an S14 with a kouki front end and a nifty paint job. he's got an S13 redtop under the hood with a gt2871R and microtech along with other bells and whistles. he just got the tranny redone and is back on the road, finally.

another note worthy motor that was there, was jamie's setup. a freshly rebuilt s13 redtop SR20det with a full tomei turbo kit. tomei everything basically. cams, RAS, exhaust manifold, gt2530 turbo, turbo elbow.. as well as some nice greddy pieces and a candy-licious red paint job. cleanest motor i've seen in a long time, and he's just peaking over 500 km on the motor! so young.. he's also rollin on some XD9's in the chrome finish (extra $$$ per wheel). same specs as my fronts, 17x9.5 +17 but he's got em on all 4 corners and has stock body. one of my fav local cars for sure.

onto the pics.

Wing the wong numba?

nope. the right one!

been a while since the last entry. hmmm

work is pickin up a bit. thats a blessing for sure. been having lots of great summer days and nights with liz (always awesome). car's runnin great. would like to get a better handle on the cooling situation in the engine bay tho. need to get a fan shroud like yesterday :S

BUT! got my wing back. woohoo! finally. i've waited more than a year to rock such a cool wing on my car. its nifty. i've seen a couple in america, but none in canada. maybe i'm the first? it was made in japan by g-corp/326. one of my favorite non super drift wings. nice and aggressive and street style. fits the wide body great. very similar to a type-x wing which came on the japan 240's (180sx) but wider and more aggressive styling. paint matched to my orange by a great friend Steve Thompson down at O.Z. Designs in burnaby. he does amazing work. and thats an understatement.

anyways. some pics of said winger.

i spy with my little eye, something that is wing.
